HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!
This is the first year we bring baby Jenhong back to Kuching for CNY, it is also the 1st CNY we celebrate together with Jenhong. We’d been making various kind of preparations and learn how to handle him on flight, as baby can sometimes cry very badly throughout the journey. Yet, when the day comes, he has been performing very good all way thru. He didn’t cry so badly due to the pressure on flight, he basically cried for a while just because he wants to sleep but he’s not in the normal sleeping position. After putting him to sleep, he just sleep thru the journey. Good Boy!
We reached Kuching around 8pm, the night before CNY reunion dinner. Didn’t have much chance to enjoy hawker food we love in Kuching, as everyone is basically busy preparing for CNY. The next day, we had our reunion dinner after putting Jenhong to sleep… muahahaha… After the dinner, we just gather together for a nice chat since we hasn’t been back to Kuching for really long time. Everyone is busy playing with Jenhong too since this is the first time he meets everyone in the family.
When it was close to midnight… I brought baby Jenhong to sleep inside the room, and stayed by his side to ensure he’s not woke up by the firecrackers/fireworks. This is my first CNY that I stayed in the room without enjoying the moment 1st day of CNY arrived. In Kuching, the atmosphere is still very good, the firecrackers/fireworks basically last for an hour.
The weather in Kuching wasn’t really good throughout our holidays in Kuching. Not even a day since I am back is a sunny day. Thus, this limit our CNY visiting as bringing Jenhong around on rainy day is very troublesome. We spent most of our time at home, enjoying and relaxing.
Right before we head back to PG, we attended my sister’s wedding reception in Kuching too, not an easy task to bring along Jenhong, thus we decided to put Jenhong with baby sitter while we drive down to KL for my sister’s wedding end of this month.
Baby Jenhong fall sick 2 days before we come back to PG. He is having cough and flu now. We brought him to Dr. Hwang today, and put him on some medication, hopefully he can get better in 2 days time, so we can resume his injection schedule next week.
Alright, baby Jenhong is crying for bed now… need to spend some effort to put him to sleep, because everytime when he fall sick, he won’t be willing to sleep by himself. Mommy will blog again soon when time allows ^__^
