Interesting memory to remember forever

Can you imagine it was a month ago when I update Jenhong’s blog? That is too ridiculous! Well, it really shows that mommy is too busy at work. We won’t forget to keep taking videos, snap photos whenever we could, but posting blog is much lower priority as it really take a lot of time, not just to draft the post, but to edit the photos and go thru the photo bucket for selection too. Anyhow, there is always some moment in Jenhong’s life that we will still like to share with friends and family…

It is not easy for both of us to take care Jenhong just by ourselves, but we do believe that this is the way life should be and we should live our own way out!! Don't you think so? In the end, the satisfaction is worth than anything else in our life. I won’t know how Jenhong will grow up to be, what kind of person we’ll be anticipating 20 yrs from now, but it is up to us being the parents of this child to shape his attitude, to shape his character, to educated him, to share his life from the day he is born, until the day we let him go on his own. We’re glad that we don’t have the troubles some of our friends has with babysitter, with the elders, even with the baby himself, yet we also miss the time where elders and family can really be a great help at time like wedding dinners, company dinners, personal vacation, and even to enjoy a movie in the cinema. We don’t have the luxury to really enjoy a light and easy travel now, yet our hearts are always lighten up by Jenhong smile, or when he did “the trick of the day” for you! It is never easy, but the point is, we made it thru another year!!!! How cool~ Can I call myself being a super mommy?! muahahaha... for being able to deliver project at work, and spend meaningful time with my child? YES... I think I am supermom...

Ok… so much to write this round… let’s start with some milestone Jenhong achieved for the past month.

This one I believe is major achievement recently, he started to walk with support. Even so, he refused to have his first attempt to walk by himself, anyway… we don’t like to push him to learn new things, so let’s see... I am anticipating by 18mths he will start walk. Haha…

Apart from that, we found that Jenhong is very different compared to other babies when it come to feeding medicine. So… here’re two videos, the first one is when you give him his milk milk, he’s happy isn’t it?

So what happen when you give him medicine … … take a look …

Haha, amazing isn’t it? Most of my friends said their babies run away from medicine, and they have to force-feed the medicine with syringe, but you see Jenhong, he’s so excited… I call that amazing! It really save my effort to force medicine into his mouth.

As usual, some photos to share, if you notice, he like to *SMILE* recently. When he smile, that means you can’t see his eyes… hahaha, I believe all babies smile the same way as he does. Or, put it the other way, he's just like any other baby =)

It is almost the end of 2009, life had changed a lot since then. Dec 2009 also marked the 9th year we knew each other, the 5th year of our marriage and of course the 15 mth of baby Jenhong.

Thanks for those who contributed to this blog, and of course not forgetting those who always keep themselves updated on baby Jenhong.

We, together with Jenhong, wishing you merry x'mas, and happy new year, hope 2010 will be another great year ahead for everyone!

The Long awaited news of baby Jenhong

HAHA, actually, the awaited news is not for us, but yet for the followers of Baby Jenhong’s Blog… sorry guys and gals, mommy is too busy to update blog since she updated it about a month ago. Mommy and daddy is very busy at work, and we do OT at night hours after he slept…

Thanks for all your patient of keep checking this blog if any new post is available!!!

Well, baby Jenhong is now 14 mths old, very fast right?! Soon, we will go back to Kuching for CNY, imagine earlier this year when we’re back, Jenhong is just 3+ mths old!? Cool… he has really grown up a lot nowdays, check out some photos we took recently.

Hmm, frankly speaking, baby Jenhong did not make any significant progress recently other than he’s getting naughtier, getting smarter, and of course, getting noisier too =P See what he do when he’s having his dinner…

He can walk with support now, but still refuse to try walk himself, either he’s lazy, or he’s scared. So anyway, there is no harm letting him explore and learn up by himself, we’ll rather just watch him do it slowly than to rush him to walk… haha, let everything goes naturally, no harm~ he weight around 10kgs from last visit to Dr. Hwang’s clinic, he’s getting fitter as he grown up, which is a very good sign. He still eat porridge for now, haven’t started him on rice and full solid yet because he still have slow growing teeth, only seem 6 so far, 6 that are not even fully grown yet. So… slow as steady like what we used to do, let him enjoy porridge first, which actually means, more work for mommy. Mommy is preparing his porridge every night before bed now, and let the slow cooker do the rest of the cooking work thru the night, and every morning when we send Jenhong to his nanny, will bring his lunch together. The rest of the porridge will leave for the slow cooker to heat up once in noon, and one more time in the evening before we reach back home for dinner. On the other hand, every time we went out for lunch or dinner, we do let him try some food outside too, so that we can keep him sit still in his stroller or the high chair =D

Jenhong is getting smarter in exploring and playing his toys too. We captured a few videos while he’s playing toys yesterday, but too bad this is the only one I will probably post here, the rest are not as good… do notice what he’s waiting to be praise after he finished his “task” … very funny…

How cute… he’s waiting for people to praise him as he did a good job on playing with his toy, wonder if he’s too smart… Oh btw, he has a funny action, which we don’t really know from where he learned it. Is what his Aunty “Ah Girl” call “ah nei” action… haha, watch for yourself…

Alright, mommy can’t really write much, because she has very limited time. Jenhong is very nice to play with nowadays, he always has a lot of unexpected action day after day which keeps daddy and mommy happy at home. Raising up a child is no joke, but it all worth it! When you see their smile… you forgot about all the troubles!

Special THANKS to Joe & Shu Shan

This is a special post, sincerely dedicated to Joe and Shu Shan for their effort and time spent on Jenhong’s 1st Birthday Party held on last Saturday. Joe and Shu Shan are great photographers, they took tones of great photographs which I have no better words to describe than to post a few here to let you enjoy it ^__^. Deep from our heart, we appreciate their dedication and passion for the entire night… Joe and Shu Shan, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! The party won’t be successful without you!!!

Party started with some warm up photographing while waiting for the cook of the night to finish up the dishes…

When the food is ready and everyone had arrived, we start to fill our stomach with delicious dishes prepared by Mommy and Daddy of Jenhong ^__^, trust me… the food are delicious! Muahahahaha…

As usual, after dinner, most people will hang around, chatting, laughing, playing… so let’s take a look what are the kids doing.

We have some reading session… babies nowdays can read =P

Jenhong tends to be playful that night…

And he’s trying to act cute too…

And don’t forget that he’s the spotlight for the night…

Also, some laziness around the house, like Ji Hin …

And then… yes!! Here comes the cake ~~~

After enjoying the cake, we tried very very hard to help Joe capture some nice photos in the temporary studio at our study room, but … it wasn’t so successful as babies and kids are too energetic! So, we decided to do this…

Amazing huh!!! “Baby Einstein” successfully brings all the kids on same focus >>> the TV!!! Well, kids nowadays are so addicted to TV, especially show like Baby Einstein, Barney, etc. So, our beloved, and passionate photographers take their sweet time sit in front of TV to take photos, haha.

And there goes… the end of the party. Mommy send Jenhong to bed around 10+pm, and the rest of Jenhong’s friends also leaving one by one… what left is memorable moment that none of us will forget this 1st birthday of Jenhong, a very special day for us as first-time parents that celebrate our baby’s 1st birthday. Even though there’re a lot of hardwork behind the scene, but it was so meaningful.

Here're some collage I edited from the photos, hope you like it...

Once again, this post is specially dedicated to both Joe and Shu Shan, thank you once again for snapshot the long-awaited moment.

Jenhong is 1 year old

Yio~~~

Jenhong is 1 year old… hurray! Mommy and daddy did a good job taking care of him, he’s now 1 year old, big milestone achievement!

Even though Jenhong is sick, but yet… he enjoyed his first birthday celebration very much. Daddy and mommy organized a small birthday party for him, invited a few of Jenhong’s friends, and two of mommy’s photographing friends. It was a simple party on Saturday night, the day before his birthday. It was a great party after all, simple and enjoyable~

Shu Shan and Joe both bringing their best photographing equipments to snapshot this memorable moment, special thanks for Shu Shan’s and Joe’s passionate in photographing, took many gorgeous photos for the party.

Jenhong also received several gifts from his friends… he got new shirt, new toys and also one ang pow from his beloved bbsitter Aunty Winnie! Erm… but daddy and mommy didn’t prepare any gifts, they believed that the 1st year old small birthday party is best gift for him ^__^ Also, not forgot one special gift from aunty Shu Shan and uncle Joe too =P

Alright, mommy is yet to get the collection of photos from Shu Shan, but you can take a quick peep on the amazing photos by them here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=102884&id=518438285&ref=share

Countdown ~ 10 days to go…

Being a mom nowadays is not easy, especially where family members are so far apart, and yet, they have very high expectation on me updating this blog on a very frequent basis! Hmm, frankly speaking, with H1N1 hassle nowadays, I will rather rest more instead of spend more time to update my blog =( Ever since Jenhong join our family, I can hardly have some personal time, all my time spent taking care of him, making sure he got what he need, fill his stomach and live a good life. At the meantime, don’t forget that I am a working mom… an Intel working mom, not easy!!! Life is Intel, is no joke… if you screw your job, your salary will be screwed too… so… be patient lar… I will update Jenhong’s blog when I have the time…

Ok la, in order not to get complains so often, I decided to upload some photos and videos… Take a close look, his hair is growing!

Jenhong’s mood is not bad recently, he enjoy crawling on the floow, throwing toys, shouting, and etc… mommy and daddy still enjoy see what he did everyday, because there’re always unexpected moment =)

Let’s peek a video and find out how he read book? Hehe…

And not forget… bravo to daddy and mommy for a great 1st year of parenting experience, not bad wa… see how cute Jenhong is, both daddy and mommy did a great job!
