Jenhong is so happy

This is a small clip we managed to capture while he is so happy when we play with him... Hope it will cheer you up too!

Enjoy~

How’s Jenhong doing recently?

Hi hi… Mommy is so busy at work ever since 2 weeks ago!

It has been a while, and Jenhong has some progress since then! HAHA… must be good news since I am so happy.

2 weeks back, Jenhong has managed to sleep thru the night! Wow, isn’t this the best news for all parents? A lot of parents keep hoping that their infant/toddler can sleep thru the night, so that they can get enough rest too… we’re the same. Even way before Jenhong is born, I am hoping that he will sleep thru the night, so we can have a good sleep too, especially the next day we need to work. So, when he first started to sleep thru, we’re so happy! He has been maintaining this for 2 week so far, he will sleep sometime between 8-9pm, and wake up the next day around 6-7am. The timing is just nice for me to do some extra OT at work after he sleep, and wake up to prepare for work the next morning. Let’s keep fingers cross and pray hard that he will continue to do this =) Good Boy Jenhong!

Jenhong has been a pretty good boy recently. He sleep well, play well, and smile a lot too! We’re happy to play with him most of the time, and seeing him growing and growing, feel so excited. Whenever he has new expression, new exploration, we’re so happy. Life is just so great! Last weekend, we went to Jusco again and saw this little cot hanger, we bought one for him and he like it quite a lot. Everytime he wake up, he will be talking and smiling to the bear bear… haha… cute little boy!

Alright, mommy is writing blog in office…
Better get back to work soon, don’t want to get fire while economy is very bad for electronic industry. Will write more updates soon after bring him for 4th month follow-up, stay tune!!!

A smile that keep me happy and motivated at work...

Give me Milk!!!

This clip is captured by daddy after bathed Jenhong, looks like he is not so happy...

yummy yummy...

What is so interesting about the hand... does it really look like "drumstick" ?!

Stubborn Boy…

It has been a while since I start to work, and my work is getting busier and busier… yet I still enjoy taking care of Jenhong at night, especially he can interact with smiles and some baby talk now, HAHA.

We changed Jenhong’s formula last Saturday, since then he refused to drink water! We tried our best and trying to feed him thru various methods, but all turn out to be a failure. We tried to talk to him nicely and try to get him to drink, we tried to force him and in the end he cry. We also tried to directly pour water into his mouth, it ended up he vomit all out and cry. We tried so hard for 2 days, and finally we decided not to force him anymore, if he insist don’t want to drink, we’ll just let him be… what a stubborn boy!

Monday was Raya Haji holiday, so we didn’t send him to baby sitter, take care and play with him at home whole day. Tuesday, we’re back at work again, life is really busy…

Then starting Wednesday, he starts to take a little bit of water before and after his milk, what a relief! We feel so happy after he start to get back to how he used to be, thank God! Maybe as first-time parents, we’re just over-worried. It is probably ok, no big deal…

The lesson is… never force him unless something really wrong. As long as he is happy, healthy, we should let him be, maybe that is better… ?!

Jenhong is 3 months old

Jenhong turned 3 months old yesterday! Time flies…

Brought Jenhong back to Dr. Hwang for injection and followup, as usual, he is a good boy, he don’t cry a lot. He grow well, 6.4kgs now! He is a chubby baby!

Recently, he has constipation, at most of the time, he don’t poo poo for 3 days! Gosh. We bring him back to Dr. Hwang 2 times this week because of his constipation. Dr. Hwang has confirmed that his stool is not hard, yet still soft, so things aren’t getting too bad. She teached us now to help stimulate him to pass motion, and recommended that we switch to another formula which helps him with his constipation until he gets better. This troublesome Jenhong… hopefully he can get used to poo poo everyday and will save us a lot of trouble.

Mommy is backed to working life, things are going well and mommy is getting busier! Soon will be very busy with project milestone as some of the items are actually behind schedule for now.

Until then… Mommy will continue to post of Jenhong’s progress whenever she has the time =)

Last but not least… here’s a recent clip of baby Jenhong… Enjoy~~

Jenhong’s first video shot!

Haha… so called first video shot, but nothing much actually… he don’t really know how to play yet, furthermore he can’t speak yet!

Sister in law told me that it is boring to see his pictures only, so I decided to give it a try to see if I manage to catch some video shot which is good enough to be posted… haha…

He will turn 3 months soon, and we’re going back for another follow-up with Dr. Hwang next week or so… more updates by then, he definitely gets heavier by now!

Here’s is a second shot… he was initially sleeping and asking for a napkin change, after I changed his napkin, I see he keep smiling to me, so I give it a try for a video shot, it was quite successful until he finally falls back asleep!

Enjoy~

Working Mom is backed

Today is my last day of holiday, will resume my working days starting tomorrow, a new start of my working life too! Hopefully my job is still as secure as before, and not so much impacted by current economy disaster.

Recently, my department is losing project, it seem to be a huge impact to most of the employees in our department either direct or indirect. As part of the employee, just wish that my job will continue to be secure, if not, I probably need to consider open a kolomee stall in PG to continue survive! Haha… well, wish me luck!

Initially, plan to do more shopping this week, as once I am back at work, there will be less of a chance to go enjoy long hours shopping. But it ended up that I didn’t really shop at all, I was staying at home enjoying RPG game instead! Haha… still love playing game as ever! Whenever Jenhong is sleeping, I still get the chance to enjoy my personal life, not too bad! Anyway, since I don’t get to shop, probably in a month of two, I shall do some short hours shopping to see if there is any CNY clothes to buy =P

Shop shop shop… still love shopping…

This is the recent picture of mommy and Jenhong…

Jenhong's smiles...

Baby's smile is always the best medicine, no matter how upset you are, how angry you are, whenever you see him smile, you basically forget everything!

自己儿子的笑,来得比任何东西更珍贵,更讨人欢心。
不管心情又多难过,有多生气,只要儿子的一笑,我足以把一切抛到云霄外。

笑,永远是最佳的良药。

Love my baby Boy!!!

My baby boy Jenhong look more alike mommy recently... haha
Please vote for mommy!!!

Big baby and Small baby…

It has been long since I last wrote about Jenhong’s progress…

Well, he’s 2+ months now, still an impatient eater, can’t wait for milk to get ready. Thinks he grow bigger, can’t tell exactly coz we see him everyday, we don’t feel he is growing at all, haha.

If we put him on his stomach, he can lift his head up for longer time now. And, he loves we hold him on our shoulders and pat him at his back. He starts to observe surroundings a lot too, every time you hold him up, he will basically keep looking around and sometimes he even ignore you =)

See… Jenhong can sit!

…. No la, is his daddy that cheat you…

Before this, every car ride he will be sleeping, yet this week we found that he no longer sleep during the entire car ride, he found that there are a lot of things for him to look around while he’s on a car ride, and he starts to get very busy whenever he’s on a ride… haha, he is growing and learning a lot!

Recently… caught this big baby and small baby sleeping together! In the end, I scolded big baby because it can be dangerous when he himself falls asleep like that!

Things are going well for mommy…

It is almost one week since I discharged from hospital. I went back for follow-up this morning and everything is looking good so far. My surgeon removed half of the tube that attached to my wound, and my dressing had changed to smaller and lighter water-proof type of dressing which allow me to bath more convenient since the discharge from my wound is getting less by now. I will have to go for another follow-up on next Monday, by then, my surgeon should be able to remove all the remaining tube. The purpose to keep half of the tube remaining is to let the wound heal from internal to external.

After follow-up, I actually bought quite some buns from the bakery at Island Hospital, was thinking to have it for snacks, or even tonight’s dinner. Hubby is working slightly late tonight due to late meetings, and I will have to pick him up before I can go pick my my baby from Winnie.

This afternoon will be a relax afternoon, nothing much in plan, probably can call the Perodua agent to find out more about Myvi details… hehe… planning to get a second car!

An Unexpected Surgery

I was discharged from Island Hospital yesterday and resting at home now. Was admitted for a minor surgery to surgically drain my breast abscess. My breast abscess was originated from mastitis, which is a bacteria infection on my breast and causing my milk to clog and worse it was blocked, end up cannot be clear by either baby sucking or express out.

I then gotten a referral letter from Intel’s panel clinic and went to see my surgeon on Thursday afternoon, ultrasound has shown that I have a lump that is quite huge and required a surgical drainage on my infected breast as soon as possible. So after discuss and agreed with my surgeon, my operation is plan on Friday morning to avoid any worsen on my infection breast which can cause more infection spreading and spoil my breast tissue.

The surgery was less than an hour I believe. On moment I get back my consciousness, it was around 11am already. Everything went thru smoothly and I was able to have my lunch around 1+pm. Around evening time, I met my surgeon and he explained to me how the surgery was done and what are the things that I need to do after I get discharged. He explained to me how should I attend to my wound too until we meet again on coming Thursday for further adjustment on the wound and follow-up. The wound was around 1+cm, it is an open wound for now attached to a tube to let the dirty blood and other liquid to leak out. So, I don’t need to clean my wound everyday, yet just to change my dressing whenever it is wet. Thank God it wasn’t too difficult and painful.

In order to kill all the bacteria and to recover from the surgery, my surgeon said I need to stop breastfeeding from now onwards to avoid further spread of the infection and potential of causing spoil on my breast tissue. This is the only thing that I am quite sad of actually. I’d then spoken to Dr. Hwang, she is a really good paediatrician, she visited me after my surgery and told me that there is way to resume breastfeeding even though I will have to force stop it for now. But first thing first, I will have to be fully recovered from the surgery. Hopefully… I still have the chance to breastfeed baby Jenhong.

After my surgery… my poor hubby is so busy taking care of baby because I do not hold my baby for now to avoid it worsens my wound. My hubby did most of the housework, cooking and baby stuff, while I take more time to rest for faster recovery.

Really appreciate that my baby sitter, Winnie is ok to take over my baby sooner than expected, so baby Jenhong is going to Winnie’s place during daytime, and while my hubby come home after work, he will go pick him up. There is still 2 weeks before I resume back at work, hopefully within this 2 weeks, my wound can recover most of it and I can start to work without much worried.

Naughty Boy is 2 months old

My naughty boy turn 2 months old yesterday. We brought him to see Dr. Hwang for injection and follow-up, he is now 5.1 kgs, Dr. Hwang said he is growing good, yet he is not a very tall boy, his length falls only on the 10 centile.

One thing we found out is… his cry while injection is given is much better than when he is asking for milk! What a boy… we both agreed that he has thick skins, HAHA =P

Final month of maternity leave

Time flies…

I’d been thru 2/3 of my maternity leaves, so fast!!!
Looking back 2 months ago, I just delivered baby Jenhong that time, and I was complaining about my confinement month, and now… baby Jenhong is going to be 2 months old in just few more days! Isn’t that fast…

Company offered 60 days of maternity leave and that is going to end by this week. I took extra personal annual leave to top-up until end of Nov, and I will send my baby to baby sitter, Aunty Winnie who stays at block A at Regency Heights starting Dec.

Looking back when I first started taking care of baby Jenhong by myself, I’d learned a lot by now. First of all, I managed to get thru the day with less sleep. I also manage to do all the housework, cooking, washing and etc while baby Jenhong is sleeping. In additional to that, I can still watch tv, blogging and facebooking too! Isn’t that amazing?! HAHA

It wasn’t as tough as I thought while it come to taking care of baby, as time pass by, I find that I’d get so used to it and everything become more relax than when it first started. Whenever he smile… again, you forget everything!

I will definitely enjoy my final month of fulltime housewife life~

Bringing Jenhong hanging out while family is here

It has been long since I last wrote here. My mom and sisters came last fri/sat respectively, they stayed here until Tue and fly back to Kuching. While they were here, life is so much busier compared to just taking care of Jenhong by myself.

My mom and ah Jia arrived on Friday night, hubby went to pick them up. By the time they reach my place, it is almost 11pm. The first thing to do is…… guess what?

Of course is eating my beloved KOLOMEE!!! Haha…
Wow, it is really feeling good after eating one packet of kolomee for supper. The last time I ate kolomee was in mid-Aug, when my uncle/aunty came. Hmm, still like kolomee as ever!

Since it has been quite late, we didn’t do much, and they get to bed earlier to rest. The next morning, we had light breakfast at home and waiting for ah Girl and Philip to come. Initially thought they arriving around 10+am, but who knows in the end, they arrived only around noon time… so hungry! Not long after they arrived, we immediately get ready to go out for lunch, too hungry. We bought them to Mizi Bistro to try some western food, since my mom never eat at a western restaurant before, thus taking the risk to bring her there =P

After lunch, I feed baby Jenhong his lunch before we head to Queensbay Mall. We have a walk at Jusco, shop for some baby stuff and daily stuff too, Jenhong was really quiet, he really likes to sleep while going out. Basically, the entire trip outside he is sleeping nicely in the infant seat. At the same time, we get to enjoy our lunch and shopping too, not too bad! At night, we went out for a quick dinner at nearby restaurant and head back home straight after dinner to have more rest.

On sun morning, everyone wake up really early to go town enjoy a dimsum breakfast! Again, we’re bringing baby Jenhong together =). After breakfast, we head back home, ah Girl and Philip is getting ready to drive back to KL, while we’re getting ready to pack our stuff and go Jitra for a short stay at my aunty’s place. After lunch, we drive up to Jitra around 3pm, arriving before 5pm. Since it was my mom’s first trip to Jitra, and she has not meet my aunty for long time, they had a good chat that evening before we head for dinner again at 8+pm.

In Jitra, a lot of people is busy playing and taking care of baby Jenhong, while we actually get to take some deep breath! The next day, we stay at home to take care of baby Jenhong, while my aunty bringing my mom and ah Jia to walk around since they never been here. At around 4+pm, we finally pack up and drive back to PG again. By the time we reach PG, we head straight for dinner and reached home around 7+pm.

Baby Jenhong was really happy while my mom and sisters around, guess he likes to play with more people rather than just daddy and mommy. After they left, baby Jenhong starts to cry more frequent. A lot of time, it is really tough to get him to sleep and he keeps crying even though he is sleepy. I knew that he wants to sleep, just couldn’t. A lot more patient required these few days and luckily my hubby is taking the week off from work!

Baby Jenhong is growing fast!

Busy, Busy… Busier day after day……

It has been long since I last blog here, been too busy with baby Jenhong, and I hardly have the time to sleep, what more blogging!

Baby Jenhong wake up more frequent recently, and once he wake up, it is very tough to put him back to sleep unless he is really tired. Even so, he can’t get into sleep on bed by himself, he wants to be hold!! Gosh… this is what we trying to avoid all these while and now, if we don’t hold him, he will start to cry as soon as you put him on bed. We tried to let him cry for a while and hope that he will sleep after he tired, but he is not, so sometimes I just feel tired and hold him until he falls asleep… scared that this might become habit and it will be tough moving forward, still trying my best to avoid this.

Started from last weekend, he gets very alert to diaper change. As long as you touch him while he is sleeping, he become mad and start crying… (has potential be stay awake after that…) So, I tried not to change his napkin too frequent and try to be soft and gentle, but it doesn’t work =P. I will end up getting myself busy with him again until he gets back to sleep… phew!!!

The main worry I have recently is… when he don’t want to sleep. As long as he is awake, he will like to have attention, and I won’t be able to get my work done especially when hubby is working and I am home alone. Basically, either bath, breakfast, lunch, cooking, washing, cleaning… it has to be all set aside until he falls asleep. So, when he finally falls asleep, I will get things settle immediately in the fastest manner such that when he wake up once again asking for milk in between his sleep, I can attend to him.

Life is just routine of taking care of bb Jenhong + housework, yet I feel like I don’t have enough time to get my stuff done even though I only sleep for 4-5 hrs each day!!!

Wish he can grow up faster and life can get slightly better… Wish me luck, I am still trying to be a good mommy!

1 Month follow-up for baby Jenhong

Last Thursday, after sending confinement lady Aunty Ah Wan back to her home, daddy and mommy bring baby Jenhong for 1 month follow-up at Dr. Huang’s clinic. We reached slightly late, around 9+am, yet this time round, we don’t have to wait long for the queue. Maybe next time we should go at later hours, not too early to avoid long waiting queue.

Baby Jenhong had his 2nd Hepatitis-B injection. Everything is looking good, he weight 4.5kgs now, not too bad for a breastfeeding baby, looks like mommy’s milk is quite nutritious, haha!

Mommy’s First Day of Home Alone…

Today is my first day being a fulltime housewife, taking care of baby Jenhong myself alone at home. Hubby resume working today after taking 2 days off last week to help me get started with new life with our beloved baby Jenhong.

Jenhong did quite well last night by not staying awake at night hours, thus I managed to get around 4-5 hrs of sleep in total, wake up 2 times to take care of him. It wasn’t that bad, at least still manageable. This morning I wake up 7am+, getting ready some stuff and gave him a bath, then feed him once again after that. Since then, he is sleeping and there I go… getting my housework, cooking, etc etc done before he wakes up again. So guess what I did this morning? I mop the floor, prepare some food for lunch, have my breakfast, take my bath, fold his clothes and changing his diaper in the middle of his sleep. Everything was done within 2 hrs, and here I am writing blog again!!! HAHA… not too bad for my first day, I feel things are under control so far…

He is going to get up soon, hopefully after this he will stay awake for few hours maybe, and get a good sleep in the afternoon so that I can take a short nap too.

Finally, will like to sincerely thank my hubby for being very supportive, taking off from work to help me get started with our new journey. He did a lot of the cooking, housework thru the weekend too, and he’s the one that was Jenhong clothes at night too!

Thanks for being a great hubby!

The challenging life ahead

Ever since my confinement lady left, daddy and mommy have not slept well through the night. Average, baby Jenhong will wake up 2-3 times, and if lucky enough, he will not even willing to sleep for 2-3 hrs. This is the time where both daddy and mommy experience the meaning of parenthood.

Taking care of newborn baby is really not easy. All in all, mommy will need to be independent and get used to new life because daddy still need to work during daytime. It has been 2+ days since my confinement lady left, mommy seems to be manageable, but it is indeed very tiring. Every sleep is generally less than 3 hrs, and when baby Jenhong cry, mommy will need to put down whatever work on hand and take a look at him immediately. It become very challenging when mommy in the middle of sleep, it took very huge effort to open mommy’s eye and attend baby Jenhong immediately.

Life has really changed after the arrival of baby Jenhong. Life has become more meaningful and cherish, but it become much more tiring and sacrificing for daddy and mommy. Regardless, whenever you see baby Jenhong smile, again… you basically forgot how tired you are!

Love you baby Jenhong… from daddy and mommy!

He can really CRY

Jenhong is 1 month old now, and within a month, he has learn how to really cry to get attention. When he first home, he was so nice and he doesn’t really cry out loud and scream, yet by now, he can really cry + scream until you come to him and do what he wish to.

When I first listen to his cry + scream, it was so heart-tearing! I can’t hold myself back not to hold him in my hands and try to stop him from crying. But now… I’d got used to it =P

In general, he cry + scream for 2 main reason. Everytime after he wake up from his sleep, either if he wants milk or he found that his napkin is wet, he will basically cry like no tomorrow. When he do that, basically as first time parents, you feel heart-tearing and you will attend him in no time.

Well, all babies are like that, every though they can really cry terribly and make you up-side down, but whenever they smile to you, you just forget anything they did to you! HAHA

I am 1 month old today

Hello everyone, I am one month old today!!!
Daddy and mommy taken a lot of photos for me with my gifts, did you see it? I’d grown a lot, I weight around 3.7kgs by now…

Daddy’s and mommy’s friends are all very nice, they bought a lot of toys for me! Daddy and mommy also bought me new suits today, and some small toys for my fullmoon.

I am very happy today… *muaks*

The Massage

First time ever in my life of 20+ years that I enjoy a full body massage!

As many of my friends and colleagues recommended, I tried the post-natal Malay traditional massage. It was done by an old Malay lady, people call her Kak Sham. She has been doing traditional massage for more than 20 years, a very skillful and experienced massage lady.

Last weekend, I had her come to my apartment and did twice of the massage + tungku. First, she will do a full body massage and followed by the tungkul, which uses some herbs and it is hot! The entire massage took 90mins, and it was so relax and wonderful.

In future, I should probably do a full body massage on regular basis to reward myself !!

Going Home after 4 days...

Yay, finally both baby and mommy are heading home!
Mommy was actually discharged on the 2nd day after delivery, but due to baby’s jaundice condition, mommy continues to room-in to feed the baby until baby is discharge. On the 4th day, yes… finally my paediatrician said baby Jenhong can go home!

As soon as he gets home, I can’t help to take a few pictures of him… cool, he can even smile! Yet, it wasn’t that relax at all. I was having an early delivery and baby was discharge on a last minute basis after my paediatrician found that he’s doing fine. So, we’re actually home without my confinement lady come on board yet! This means… we gotta do everything by ourselves.

For first-timer, this wasn’t an easy task, furthermore I am still weak and tired, thus my hubby get to do all the housework, cooking and everything, while I take care of changing diapers for baby, feed baby whenever necessary. Hmm, I wonder how we get thru the day, but glad that my confinement lady is here the next day noon time! Phew, I can now finally take some good rest.

Baby is always so gorgeous and charming! Yet… it is not an easy task when it comes to taking care of baby, no joke man!

The Labor

Labor process to me, is somewhat a mix-feeling kind of thing. I had never been thru labor before, even though I knew exactly what will be going on before, during, after labor, yet I still can’t imagine what is the truth behind it until I get thru it once. Since young, we’re influence with all kinds of movie, drama that labor is no joke, I always have the mindset that labor is a terrible and painful process, thus to be frank, I have a certain level of worries and terrify within myself. But as far as what people around me said, it wasn’t sound that bad at all, and with the medical we have today, labor can be as relax as pain-free! So I told myself, relax… it wasn’t something terrible and I should enjoy the process.

Looking back to the day of my labor, if you ask me did I ever enjoy it? I will say YES, I DID! But this doesn’t mean it was pain-free. But to get thru it with my hubby at my side to support me, and finally deliver my our 1st baby, I will have to say it is worth it for all the hard work during pregnancy and all the sustain I’d gone thru during labor. Is a process that all women should have experience it once, believe me or not, it’s the “mother nature” satisfaction =)

It was Friday night, we’re planning for a shopping after work. After I had my dinner and evening bath, I found my water bag broken. The first thought that came into my mind is… Oh gosh, don’t tell me he’s coming now, it is still 3+ weeks earlier! And I haven’t gotten my “luggage” fully packed!

We then decided to get to the hospital first, and my hubby can come back home to pick up all the stuff I need during the hospital stay. It was a rainy night, and I was admitted to the hospital around 8+pm. At 9+pm, I was settled down in the labor room with baby’s heartbeat monitored and lie on the bed waiting for delivery. My gynae came, and he said I am just dilated 1cm, and might or might not deliver by tonight. The midwife also said that there’re probably quite sometime to go, and ask me relax and watch some tv or sleep. I tried to have some sleep, but I guess I am just too excited, how can I sleep by now! So, I chatted with the midwife, watch some tv and waiting for my hubby to come back.

Time passes quite fast, and by 12+am, I am fully dilated. My hubby finally reached hospital on-time when I start to push!! The midwife and nurses are very helpful and supportive, but pushing wasn’t easy for me. I believed my body is quite stress-out by then after a day of work, and my leg keep having cramp as I push. I tried to push for >30mins, and I still have about 2cm to go, but I just can’t make any further. The midwife suggested to use vacuum as it is a safe distance to use vacuum, furthermore, she see that I am exhausted. When my gynae arrived, he gave a help with the vacuum while I still pushing when the contraction happened. Before I knew what’s going on, my baby boy was borned! It was just a matter of few seconds! I must say that my gynae is very skillful, the vacuum gave only a very minimal impact to the baby, and it wasn’t as bad as people used to say. While my gynae is stitching up my wound, the nurses keep asking me to relax as they will do the rest. I still can’t believe that it is finally over!

After the nurses did the basic cleanup, they bring the baby for me to have a close look and asked me to kiss the baby before they send him back to nursery for cleanup and checkup. He was so cute and gorgeous! After my gynae done with my stitches, the nurses cleanup the labor room and leave me rest for an hour before they send me back to my room. It was really tiring by now, and I finally fall asleep…

Giving birth wasn’t easy, yet it really means a lot to me…
From start of pregnancy, until I gave birth to my baby boy Jenhong, my hubby and I tighten our bonds further and yes, everything is just so worth it, especially when you see a smile coming from your baby!!!

Satisfaction

YIO~~~

Do you ever understand or experience a so called real "SATISFACTION"?!
Mommy experienced it today =P

Today, asian chinese culture still practice so called "confinement" after delivered a baby, so do I. Even though I did not follow exactly what they do in the olden days, but yet I still follow some of the common practice that followed by my generation of friends.

Today is the 15th day of my confinement, and guess what? I get to have a BATH! unbelieveable?

Well, I still follow the rule-of-thumb that, it was believed that during confinement month, you can only bath twice, basically once in the mid of confinement, and another time at the end of the confinement. So today, is my FIRST BATH ever since I delivered my beloved baby Jenhong!!! After suffered for 15 days without bath, imagine when weather is hot, I still cannot resist sweating, imagine my hair is so oily because I just can't wash my hair... (remember, I can't bath, what more washing my hair!)... ... ... This is the day!!!! Gosh, can you imagine HOW HAPPY I AM?!

After taken my bath, this is what so called "SATISFACTION"!!! If you don't understand how much it mean, why don't you give it a try =P

Parenthood

As far as 9 mths pregnancy goes, everything was pretty smooth and my hubby is giving full support more than I expected, he is just a nice guy!

We'd been preparing ourselves physically/mentally to be promoted into parenthood as baby grows in my tummy. It was great experience and feeling, even though I suffer some difficulties towards the end of my pregnancy, but we still enjoy it a lot~

As young and first time parents, frankly speaking... we don't really know what to buy, what to do sometimes. Thank God that there're so many young parents in office that help us whenever we needed. As we live far from family members, we're pretty much on our own welcoming this new member in our family.

We'd learned thru pregnancy that the "natural power" are just too amazing! And the "mother's nature power" are cool! We observed every month how our little baby (it should be called fetus) grow in my tummy every month. It was so amazing that we can even see how his bones grows, how his organs grow, how his heart beat etc etc! Isn't that amazing?! This is the first time in my life that I am always looking forward for next visit to my gynae =)

During the pre-parenthood, we play music for baby, we talked to him... the excitement of his arrival become stronger each day, and we can't imagine the moment of joy when we hear his first cry in the labor room. A lot of imagination of how parenthood should be at this point, but we might be a little too optimistic =P

Baby symbolizes the love bonds of parent. How much you love your baby, that is how strong your bond with your lifetime partner!
